The Media Hub Podcast Studio is a versatile space designed for recording sessions with 1 to 4 participants. It is equipped with three cameras to capture multiple angles, ensuring dynamic and professional-quality videos. Additionally, audio-only recordings are available for those who do not need videos. The studio provides a comfortable environment equipped with high-quality audio equipment, making it ideal for interviews, panel discussions, or solo recordings.

Location & Hours of operation

Armory 156: Enter Armory from the Armory Avenue entrance (NE) near Sixth Street. Room 156 is the door to the right.

9am - 5pm, Monday-Friday

Studio Scheduling

Illinois faculty, instructors, and TAs can reserve the Media Hub for recordings. This space is operated by CITL staff. If you need a flexible, self-use recording space, consider using CITL’s Instructor Studio or one of the Media Commons’ Self-Use Media Studios.

Best Practices

Avoid wearing loud accessories. Necklaces, earrings, and watches can produce noise during recording that may be picked up by the microphone.

Avoid wearing tight patterns. Solid clothing is the best choice. Tight patterns can appear wavy.
