The Center for Innovation in Teaching and Learning (CITL) offers dynamic, tech-forward spaces that empower educators and students to explore, create, and transform learning experiences.
Whether you're new to educational technology or an experienced innovator, CITL’s Innovation Spaces provide the tools and support to bring your ideas to life. Facilities include the Innovation Studio, featuring VR headsets, gaming computers, 3D printers, and AI tools; the Virtual Reality Lab for extended reality research; and Catalyst Classroom, where instructors experiment with new teaching methods. The Media Hub supports course design and media skill development, while the Podcast Recording Studio and Instructor Recording Studio offer professional environments for content creation. The Lightboard Studio enables engaging micro-lecture production with a chalkboard-style interface. Each space is supported by CITL experts, fostering creativity, collaboration, and pedagogical advancement.

A small research and design lab, where people can reserve time, space, and computing to work on virtual and extended reality research and projects. It also houses a green screen and streaming station for broadcasting and photography.
Instructors can use our machine-scannable answer sheets and have them scored and analyzed at no cost. We offer three analyses: the Total Report, the Item Analysis, and the Error Report.
Located in 151A Armory Building, on the north side of the building, Exam Scoring Services is available from 8:30 am-12 pm and 1-5 pm Monday through Friday.

The perfect space to learn the basics and record on your own. Available to all University faculty, instructors, TAs, and teaching staff, this smaller space is equipped with two setups: stage lighting and desk recording.
A dedicated studio for producing instructional video micro-lectures, the CITL’s Lightboard Studio enables instructors comfortable with chalkboard instruction to produce videos with a similar style. We’ll help set up any projected presentation aids, prepare overview graphics, and turn it around quickly.
