CITL offers instructional development & programming to support faculty across all stages of their teaching journey. Our Teaching Certificate Program supports the professional advancement of faculty, academic professionals, and graduate students by providing a structured, yet flexible, framework of specialized tracks for focused study and communities of practice for peer-supported and collaborative learning.

Our targeted credential tracks are designed to meet specific needs: from foundational skills and preparing for the professoriate, to scholarship of teaching and learning and the recognition of distinguished teaching. All certificates require participation in CITL workshops and events as well as reflective and evidence-based activities to strengthen the collegial learning experience.
